UHL

Founded by Oskar Uhl in 1943, UHL is a worldwide leader for high-quality optical measuring microscopes. They are the microscope supplier to the Swiss tool maker industry. These include portable measuring microscopes, video measuring microscopes and toolmakers measuring microscopes.

UHL first started designing and producing objectives, eyepieces and dovetail z-drives for microscopes. Later when Walter Uhl took over from his father, the company designed a component system containing single tube elements like clamping boxes, beam splitter cubes, filter inserts and raster bore plates. This modular approach continues today in the custom measuring microscope systems that UHL produces for customers worldwide.

VMSergo – Video

Measuring Microscope

The all-in-one VMSergo video measuring microscope enables fatigue-proof operation due to its ergonomic design. The microscope offers a stable aluminum cast stand and telecentric measuring objectives with distortion correction. Options include z-measurement, center supports, and a turret with micro-objectives. VMM150 –

Measuring Microscope

The VMM150 offers a compact design, brilliant telecentric optics, and an optimized illumination system. Included is a binocular tube, stable cast aluminum stand, telecentric optical system and easily exchangeable objectives or a turret. VMM200 –

Measuring Microscope

The VMM200 is similar to the VMM150 but also offers optional Differential Interference Contrast (DIC), stepless coaxial incident and transmitted light with glass fiber and cold light source, and a high-res digital video camera. The measuring stage can be hand-driven or motorized with crosshair and concentric circles. The VMM200 datasheet is available below.

MS1 – Portable

Measuring Microscope

The MS1 features a steady anodized aluminum body, and the LED is powered by an AC power supply or a battery. Focusing is by knurled ring and a fine-pitch screw thread. Optionally available: high resolution digital USB video camera, measuring software, and digital depth measurement. The MS1 datasheet is available below.
