Rotary Stages
Precision rotary stages are often used for exact positioning in the manufacturing of fine electronics and medical supplies, and photonics. Besides fine positioning, they are often utilized in machining operations such as milling, drilling, and grinding.
These rotary stages deliver backlash free, sub-micron positioning and 6.6 Nm to 127 Nm torque in compact 120 mm to 240 mm footprints. There are hollow-center variants and modular encoders for effortless integration into multi-axis assemblies. Custom stages can be created to adapt to your modular platform to meet your torque, speed and accuracy targets.

Small Torque Rotary HRT-105 Stages
These small torque stages are mechanically and electrically ready to install:

The HRT-105 rotary stage series is supplied as a fully wired, ready-to-connect unit complete with a direct-drive torque motor, precision rolling bearing and an incremental or absolute encoder of your choice. Its compact housing measures 120 mm in diameter. A fixed 10 mm hollow shaft lets you route air lines, fibre optics or cables cleanly through the axis, reducing external drag chains and simplifying machine layouts.
Typical use cases include high-speed pick-and-place heads, micro-dispensing stations, laser structuring platforms and precision inspection fixtures where zero backlash and sub-micron repeatability are critical.

Mid-Torque Rotary HRT-160 Stages
These ready to install mid-sized, mid-torque rotary stages offer:

The HRT-160 series of rotary stages integrates a direct-drive torque motor, precision cross-roller bearing and your choice of incremental or absolute encoder. Despite a low overall height of 30 mm, the stage delivers 8.8 Nm peak torque and maintains up to 500 rpm without gear backlash.
Typical applications include PCB inspection turntables, laser micromachining heads, CMM rotation axes and high-speed pick-and-place modules where zero backlash and dynamic speed are mandatory.
