HeNe lasers

HeNe Lasers (stabilized helium-neon lasers) are characterized by very high frequency and amplitude stability. They are available as built-in lasers or stand-alone devices. Optionally, they can be equipped with optical fiber couplings and Faraday isolators, among other things. Frequency connection to an iodine-stabilized HeNe laser and issuance of a factory test certificate are also possible.

These HeNe lasers are often used in interferometers and spectrometers, which are then used for precise measurement applications in a wide variety of research and industrial environments.  Three models are highlighted below.  A variety of accessories are also available.  Please contact us for more details.

HeNe Lasers Featured Models:

HeNe Laser Model SL 04

This frequency and amplitude stabilized HeNe laser operates at a wavelength of 632.8 nm.  Other features & benefits include:

  • High frequency stability
  • Short run-in time
  • Screw-in thread, e.g. for optical fiber couplings
  • Switchable between frequency or amplitude stabilization
  • Special versions with higher frequency stability available on request.
HeNe Lasers sl-04

The SL 04 HeNe laser is operated with an external power supply which enables maximum variation of technical target specifications.  The standard version offers pure frequency stabilization and combined frequency and amplitude is offered.  The connection of optical components such as an optical isolator or fiber coupler is possible.

HeNe Laser Model SL 03

This cost-optimized HeNe laser operates at a wavelength of 632.8 nm.  Other features & benefits include:

  • High frequency stability
  • Short run-in time
  • Compact design
  • Best suited for OEM applications as a built-in component

The SL 03 HeNe laser is a mini cost-optimized version ideally suited for OEM use.  The laser has very good stability and be equipped with compact electronics.  The cable lengths are variable.  These lasers are often used to calibrate spectrometers in research, OEM and industry.
