1 Axis Linear Stages & Actuators
1 axis linear stages & actuators are available in multiple sizes using multiple technologies and form factors. Models include actuators and stages that offer a wide variety of features and benefits. Air-bearing motion systems offer your manufacturing process fast movement on a cushion of air, while using a variety of drive technologies such as servo motors and spindle drives for precision nanometer motion.
These 1 axis stages or actuators are ideal for large 1+ m travel, or even short-stroke operations of 8 mm.
Air-bearings offer greater precision and accuracy than mechanical bearings, and exhibit minimal eccentricity (lateral runout) and wobble (pitch and roll). Air-bearing systems are ideal for EUV chip manufacturing, surface finishing to <0.05 micron grinding tolerances, and metrology probe motion.
